Its a common myth that people think that they are to old to start learning new ways. We wall have a duty to improve our health. If heavy exercise is not your thing then light exercise with a sensible eating plan can help keep you in good shape to ensure you enjoy your life now, into retirement and beyond.
The term "older people" covers an age range of at least 30 years and within that there is a wide spectrum of nutritional requirements.

The older generation are vulnerable, look after yourself or if you are a carer or relative, try our plan, give them what they deserve and look after them.
Many older people have low energy requirements due to their relative immobility, but still fail to achieve a satisfactory energy intake.
Frail older people are an extremely nutritionally vulnerable group. Lack of mobility, reduces appetite as does factors such as poorly fitting false teeth or mental confusion. Care must be taken to ensure that meals provided are actually eaten.
Some older people have a poor intake of specific nutrients.
